Why ClickBank Sucks for Make Money Online Products

Today ClickBank introduced a new terms of service which states that they are going to charge higher fees if you’re refund rate is above 15% for a period of 60 days. This is to encourage people to make better products and in turn lower refund rates.

But as most of you will already know, when you sell or promote products in the make money online niche then you will struggle to get refund rates that low especially if you use ClickBank.

You see, as easy to use as ClickBank is to have your own affiliate program for your products, it’s also FAR too easy to claim a refund.

And most freebie seekers know this already.

All you need to do is send one email request or fill in a form and say that the product wasn’t as you expected and BANG…there you go, enjoy your free product.

As a product seller it is increasingly frustrating when you see the same names doing this over and over again.

Maybe if they want to reduce refund rates they should have a tighter procedure and ask some questions when the same people are refunding all the time?

That is why I would say I’ll probably never promote a make money online product through ClickBank again.

But I will say that it’s different in other ClickBank niches. Most buyers in the other niches don’t tend to buy lots of products in the same niche from ClickBank, so they don’t realise just how easy it is to get a refund.

Anyway, that’s just my quick rant of the day!
